We will be out of stock of R-10 Lower Receivers for the time being. We are converting the raw material of both our receivers from extrusions to forgings. This change in raw material forming requires finding a new supplier and a design change. Our current best estimate for availability is the first half 2026. The R-10 Great Plains is one of the first AR-style rifles designed with the long-range hunter in mind. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and weighing between 6.7 lbs and 7.0 lbs, depending on barrel length and BCG, this rifle allows the hunter to stretch his legs and his effective range. Superior ballistic coefficients of the 6.5 Creedmoor offer flatter trajectories and reduced wind drift to allow shooting out to 1,000 meters or more. Utilizing unique magnesium alloys that match the strength of aluminum while dropping a third of the weight, the R-10 Great Plains brings unprecedented weight reduction to the AR platform without compromising integrity. Built as an SR25/DPMS variant, the R-10 Great Plains comes standard with a Cerakote® finish, and premium components such as the JP™ High Pressure Bolt Carrier Group, KynSHOT™ Recoil Reducing Buffer, Radian® ambidextrous charging handle, and Magpul MOE SL®Carbine Adjustable Stock. Whether it’s a day at the range or that bull Elk hunting trip, the R-10 will let you travel light and roam far™.
