Whats the difference from High Profile to Low Profile? Just 1/16″. Why the difference? DPMS made the decision to make Low Profile to try to save a little bit of weight and at ROAM we wanted to do the same, but with magnesium already being 1/3 lighter than aluminum the weight savings becomes minimal. We will be switch to all High Profile in the future to be more cross compatible with other manufactures as most manufactures make High Profile.
