The R-15 magnesium upper receiver weighs 5.8 oz with the forward assist and dust cover installed, and 4.3 oz stripped. Compatible with mil-spec lower receivers, it supports cartridges such as .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO, and .300 Blackout, among others. Finished with Tagnite and Cerakote for corrosion and wear resistance, the R-15 is the lightest production AR-15 upper on the market that includes a forward assist.

NOTE: ROAM Upper Receivers have an enlarged barrel pin slot to fit our Barrel Pin Clip. This eliminates the risk of damaging the upper receiver while torquing the barrel nut. You must use a Barrel Pin Clip to correctly install a barrel into our Upper Receiver. Every Upper comes with a Barrel Pin Clip.
